Did I mention I’ve made an iPhone game? It’s called GunRazor, it’s a pretty standard (for me) top-down shooter, and it just got approved yesterday!
It took about 3 weeks of work to get it done and shipped off for approval, but…lots of that time was taken by one-time technical issues. The Max Gaming engineer (some call him…Tim) and I worked out a cross-platform abstraction layer several months ago, but he was so busy he didn’t get around to implementing it for the iPhone until a month ago. Then we had the normal teething problems of a new system; every abstraction function had one or more bugs or eccentricities we had to work out.
Still, I’m happy with how it came out, and I’m looking forward to not making much money in the insane gold-rush environment of the iPhone. 🙂
